Making a Call

 

While wearing the headset, a call can be made using the softphone on your PC in a number of ways.

 

Keyboard

 

The computer keyboard can be used to enter the number you wish to call. Activate the call by pressing the RETURN key.

 

The softphone dialler

 

The softphone dialler shown allows a number to be dialled with the mouse pointer.

Selecting the following icon starts the call. If no number is entered, selecting the icon causes the last number to be redialled.

Hot Key Dialling

 

The Hot key dialling feature is very useful for dialling a number displayed on your computer, on a webpage or document. Any number which is highlighted by your mouse arrow will be dialled when the hot key is pressed. eg. F10.

The hot key can be set from OPTIONS -> SETTINGS on the softphone.

 

Calling from Microsoft Outlook

 

By selecting the Call icon for your contact in Outlook, the contact will be called immediately.
